Following a recent break to Pembrokeshire in South Wales, I felt very inspired to capture an evening as viewed through the thistles and wild grasses on the headland, which features beautiful coastal paths.
 
This piece is the result of that inspiration!
 
You can see the vast ocean stretching out beyond and the sky is filled with the beautiful colours of a setting sun as it touches the clouds.
 
The sun is created in a blurred effect using thick acrylic paints to match other impasto features in the work.
 
This piece is strung at the back and has white painted sides incase you would like to hang it as it is. I have left it unframed, however so the buyer can easily have it framed in a style of their liking.
 
Supplied as always with a signed certificate of authenticity and varnished for protection.
