The title for this artwork comes from the saying "Is there enough to make a sailor a pair of pants?". This is normally said on a cloudy day if a bit of blue is spotted breaking through! The belief in the old days being that if there was indeed enough blue to make a sailor some trousers, then it would brighten up!...
